December, 10 Human Rights Day

Writer's picture: 1/11/1

The human rights violations experienced during the Second World War necessitated states to come together to prevent this situation. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, prepared by the United Nations Human Rights Commission, was adopted on 10 December 1948. This document, which expresses the common rights of all humanity regardless of race, religion, language, or gender, is crucial in stating that all people are equal in terms of dignity, fairness, and freedom.

World Human Rights Day is celebrated on 10 December every year following the Declaration's adoption. Being aware of the need to voice the desire to live in an equal, fair, and free world every year, we celebrate 10 December as 1/1.
